BISNIS INDONESIA TO HOLD SHIPPING & LOGISTICS FORUM 2024 THIS WEEK.

Logistics players in Indonesia need to build integration and understanding to establish a strong and sustainable maritime and logistics future. The logistics sector plays a crucial role in the national economy and serves as the lifeline connecting various islands and enhancing economic interactions both domestically and internationally. In this industry, integration of shipping and logistics in Indonesia is required to create significant and sustainable value for business entities with the aim of fostering the national economy. Bisnis Indonesia is a prominent Indonesian business newspaper that provides news, analysis, and insights on various aspects of the Indonesian economy, business landscape, and financial markets. Bringing together business players and relevant stakeholders in the shipping and logistics field. The event carries the theme "Navigating the Future of Logistics and Maritime with Innovation and Sustainability," held at the Ballroom Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/4/2024). The agenda, attended by Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, will feature several speakers divided into two sessions.



The first session will discuss Building the Future of Indonesian Maritime through Innovation, Collaboration, and Investment with speakers from the Ministry of Transportation, PT Pertamina International Shipping, and the Indonesian Logistics & Forwarder Association. Then, the second session will address Opportunities and Challenges in the Logistics Industry and Blue Economy, presented by speakers from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, National Development Planning Agency, and the Indonesian National Shipowners' Association (INSA). The event also invites participants from regulators, logistics sector business players, logistics communities and associations, to cold chain users.



The discussions are expected to generate valuable insights, foster collaboration, and catalyze action towards building a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable maritime and logistics industry in Indonesia.
